Dr. Jennifer Jellison

Dr. Jennifer Jellison, a native of Canton, Ohio, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Ohio State University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the OSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. In 2002, she achieved her Penn Hip Certification and, in 2006, earned her Chief of Staff Certification.​

In 2011, Dr. Jellison was honored with the Ohio State University Veterinary Medicine Alumni Recognition Award. That same year, she was inducted into the Glenoak High School Hall of Distinction and was voted "Favorite Veterinarian" by readers of The Canton Repository.

Throughout her career, Dr. Jellison has been a vocal advocate for animal welfare, participating in numerous public service announcements. She has made frequent appearances on Live with Kelly and Ryan, Regis and Kelly, Good Morning America, and national networks such as NBC, ABC, and Fox News, as well as local and national radio programs. Dr. Jellison has also been featured on an episode of Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures for her volunteer work with Canine Companions for Independence.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys running, horseback riding, and spending time with her three children: William, Maggie, and Andrew.
Dr. Yair Polster
Dr. Yair Polster joined For Paws in August 2023, bringing with him a wealth of expertise and a compassionate approach to veterinary care. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Yeshiva University (2019) and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree summa cum laude from the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.
Dr. Polster is a Fear Free Certified professional, ensuring that every animal he treats experiences care in a calm, non-traumatic environment. Additionally, he is USDA Accredited, with a primary focus on general practice and surgery.
Outside of his veterinary work, Dr. Polster is a proud husband and father of two sons, and a dog owner. In his free time, he enjoys reading and supporting his favorite sports teams, the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Cleveland Browns, the Cleveland Guardians, and Ohio State football.
